I was digging around through some old pictures I had thought I lost and found these. The black and white pictures are from the ’69 Gripsters Elsinore Grand Prix. The color one is me at, I believe, a Four Aces H&H also in ’69. I thought the club might like to have these. I have very fond memories of the original folks in the 100’s. It came to be in the back of BDR motorcycles in Azusa . The original club name was BDRRT but formally became the 100’s in either late ’67 or early ’68 (can’t remember for sure). It was a great time for desert racing … and people I will never forget. Still have some of my old finisher pins! Glad to see the club is still around!! The pictures are: Picture 1L-R: Don Morgan(?), Rich Townsend, Larry Hearn (fast), Stan Dick (my late father), Bob Niemen Picture 2L-R: Jim Clancy (back), Larry Hearn (still fast), Walt Pease, Bill Dick (no relation), Oscar Heintz (in front on Sachs) Picture 3L-R: Jerry Johnson (very fast), Pete Townsend, Jim Clancy (sitting) Picture 4Me on a Bridgestone 100 (16 years old) Please let me know if you get this e-mail and the attached pictures okay.
Sincerely,
Paul H. Dick
